Father's Day

I love my dad very much and hope he had a great day. I'm thankful for everything I have. I hope my dad knows just how special he is to me. He is a wonderful person and he is my hero in everything that he does.

I am going to camp on Tuesday. I am kind of nervous because I think it will rain. But i've been doing a lot of study on wildlife lately. Such as rivers and streams in Utah. It is very interesting. Did you know that Price river is unnavigable?!? That means if you went kayaking in it you wouldn't be able to navigate your boat. OH another fact is that The green river flows along the border of the Uinta mountains and it is the most dangerous river along the rocky mountains because it is so large and it flows fast. Did you know that bear lake's maximum depth is 208 feet?!? I am so scared of natural waters! you could drown so easily. Grantsville Resivoir is 500 feet deep! But think about this, Lake Michigan is 1000 feet approx. and the ocean is approx. 350,000,000 feet deep. That is millions of feet deep! That's very scary. The reason why it is approx, is that no one can go that deep into the ocean because the pressure will make them explode literally.

All of that makes me really weirded out! This is even worse: My state has two million people. That is the population. of Utah. How crazy is that?!? That is because everyone has kids! It is crazy in Utah, I don't like it. I want to move in the country... Like in the ghost town Eureka, Utah. It has a very low population and there there are rocks everywhere. It used to be an old mining town. There is a mine out there that no one knows how deep it is. It's way scary. I really would like to live there though. It would be so cool. There are old jails and shops and its very facinating.

Talking about mining reminds me about the Crandall Canyon mine that caved in and trapped six miners! they never got them out. They are underground fifteen hundred feet. That is horrible. I remember that on the news everyday! That is so scary and sad. What if the miners are still alive? What would they do? I think if I were still alive, even though that happened two years ago... I would try to dig my way out. I think that mines should be more safe. It's so scary because even if you try to dig your way out, you will just get more crap piled on top of you. AH, this is all very mind boggling.

Do you know what else is mind boggling? Kearns Jr. High used to be a military base. It was called Camp Kearns and there are houses. (the ones that I live in) That the military wives would live in with their children and there are tunnels underground leading to kearns jr and each of the houses. After the war was over, and industrial things started happening, they filled some of the tunnels up with concrete. They found dead bodies and animals. they found bats and rocks. It's really scary. Every house has one too. That's so scary. I want to try to find our house's tunnel. But Kearns Jr.'s tunnel is still intact. and so is Kearns high. Wow, Salt lake city has a lot of underground tunnels. I just want to be able to go inside of one... it would be adrenaline pumping.

On a lighter note, lets grill some pizza and get the water melon out (which is indeed fifty percent water) and have fun!

brothers never get boring.

I just wanted to post this picture. My brother is always bugging me, but it's fun. I like it when we have sleepovers together at our friends house. It's like a big pow wow! :D

The other picture is the day I tried out for madrigals. (curly hair and yellow shirt with black jacket) I was so nervous! Obviously, I did amazing because I made it!

The picture of my brother is when we went to the aquarium and he was playing on this boat.

The picture of my mother and my grandmother look very alike huh? they look strange, but they look like eachother!

And then my grandma looks a little confused and scared... lol

The day I made madrigals was amazing. They woke me up at four in the morning and we couldn't do anything to ourselves. We just had to put on a shirt! :D

Those are my amazing parents on christmas

I will be posting more of my dad in a sombrero/hawaiian hat.

never get in a hot tub when the water is cold.

I am a trying to get out of this cold before camp starts. but I was having a sleepover with grace. and we had another girl over with us. We decided to start up the jacuzi and just relax. well after it got super hot and nice. the girl turns the water cold. I got out immediately because it was just too cold. and now look, i've got the sniffles. the windows were even open! the next time sydnee wants to go in cold water, i'll take her to a lake in the night time in the mountains.

lol

good times huh??

So camp is next week and I am so excited. You see... We have these activities called "secret sisters" It is where you buy three gifts and it has to be a secret. I bought all mine. They look way cool
I am excited to be an older girl because I like a lot of the younger girls. They are so cute.
I will be sure to take some pictures. If I don't, please don't hate me. I just hope it doesn't rain. Haha. I love our camp director, she is so cool and she is also pregnant! She is grace's sister which is also cool. I helped cut out bandanas yesterday for camp. Well

I am going to go now. I will update later.

Amazing Grace

Okay so I just wanted to talk about my best friend grace in this little blogging session. We have known each other for only 4 years, but we are so close. She is just like a sister. I love her so much. We have fun no matter what and she understands everything. So I just want to tell her just how much she means to me. Nobody can replace her! I love spending time with her and I love our inside jokes. I like her friends and I like her family. But she is just so special. I don't have the words to explain it! :) She is so beautiful and she has a perfect personality. No one can even come close to it. I am so glad that I found a friend like her. I don't know what I would do without her. I'll just tell you a really funny story about our sleepover last night. Well there was this potato bug on the ground and she picked it up and we wanted to name it. So I named it Crutons jr. and then it kept falling. It eventually died! We were so sad. But it was so funny. Another thing that happened yesterday was that we went to the store and got this magazine. On the cover there was a huge cat with the headline : your prayers can save the world's fattest cat. We were busting up laughing. We bought the magazine. But the only thing is: We were the only people who thought it was funny! I know, people are lame. But you had to be there. That is just a few of MANY stories I have about my little gracie. But I will stop talking before it sounds like i'm obsessed. But what can I say? I just love my besty! :)
I LOVE MY HOMIE G!
